So I started my day by tackling my dishes. You know, unloading the washer and then loading it back, to the point it almost needed ran again. Then hand washing the ones that are supposed to go in the washer. I then proceeded to start lunch and dinner(the slow cooker is pretty great!) and by the time I cleaned up that mess I had spent from 9-11:30 in the kitchen. So crazy me decided around 1:15 to do a project with the girls(making applesauce) which proceeded to take another 45 minutes to make and clean up. Then about 4:45 we started to set up for dinner and that, with cleaning up, took 45 min. (Although its not really clean because I still have dishes to unload from the washer and reload the washer.)
That was my day spent trying to keep the kitchen mess free but, the result is, the rest of the house was neglected and is now full of toys. All this was to show that our house is inundated with mess 100% of the time But I would NOT have it any other way. It is not natural for me to let messiness exist in my house, and love it, but when I think about it I beam with joy. This mess that we are constantly fighting is what shows that our house is full of life. We are making memories, building relationships, and learning from new experiences and all of those things are messy. Therefore messiness rocks!! .... well most of the time.
